35 Years in Construction. Now I Write About It

I help builders, manufacturers, and material suppliers turn real field experience into clear, credible content that earns trust and wins business.

My Story

I’ve spent more than 35 years in the construction and building-materials world. I’ve worked the field, sold the products, managed lumber-yard operations, handled purchasing, and spent years inside people’s homes during inspections — helping them make decisions that mattered. Those decades gave me a feel for how this industry actually works. Not just the materials and systems, but the people, the pressure, and the way a job really moves from plan to completion.

I’m not a marketer who learned construction. I’m a construction guy who learned to write.

Four years ago I shifted into writing full-time. Since then I’ve written more than a thousand articles for building-materials manufacturers, contractors, and technical B2B companies. Long-form content, case studies, builder interviews, authority posts for CEOs and founders — that’s where I spend my time. The advantage I bring is simple: I’ve lived the work I’m writing about. That makes the writing clearer, more credible, and far more useful to the people who read it.

Today I work as a freelance writer and content producer for building product manufacturers and the marketing agencies that serve them. Technical articles, SEO content, product education pieces, white papers — content that has to be accurate enough for contractors to trust and clear enough for buyers to act on. If you need writing that reflects how this industry actually works, that’s what I do.

Ready to Work With Someone Who Already Knows the Industry?

If you’re tired of explaining construction basics to writers who’ve never set foot on a jobsite, let’s talk. A straightforward conversation — no pressure, no pitch — just a chance to see if what you need is what I do.
